DoubleStar 1911 frames ?

Are they any good? Thinking of building a .22 on one.

I like mine. Its a .45, and went together with no problems. The Doublestar frames are not the prettiest out there, but they do work well.

totally agree. a bit rough from the factory but everything fits well.

you can polish them up and reblue or Park and they really will pick up in appearance

they are decent to build on... Friend just finished one about 2 months ago. they are thinks in the front strap area.. and take
duracoat very well.. I will try to locate the pic's later to show finished product.
