DSA Cali legal FAL - how to convert back to a standard FAL?

I am looking to buy a California legal FAL from DSA. I plan to move next year to Arizona. When I get to free America, how easy would it be to convert my FAL to a normal rifle that accepts standard magazines? Do they weld the fixed mag in place?

I am not suggesting anything illegal. This is for informational purposes only.

I think that the fixed magazine comes out with just an allen wrench/screw driver. The magazine release and bolt release assembly is still intact IIRC. I handled one of these puppies (18") in the shop, and it was sweet. Too expensive, though ($1200). I'll stick to my Mini-14...

The one I saw was $1400. He have so few options in the peoples republik of California.
