You all really need to take anything w4rma has to say with a grain of salt. He does have over 11,000 posts over at DU.
Regardless I remember what happened in 1992. When a LOT of people voted for third parties and we ended up with Clinton, the AWB, etc. And Clinton is a conservative compared to Kerry.
I would love for a libertarian, Classic Liberal, whatever the current phrase/word is to actually have a chance at winning the election, until then I will vote for the guy who will do the best job at the time. So far Bush has done a great job with lowering taxes and prosecuting the "War on Terror" - I hate that phrase but anyways. Kerry would roll over to the U.N., terrorists, France, China, etc. like a dog wanting his belly rubbed.
As for the economy and jobs, I don't recall where in the constitution it's the federal governments job or even purpose to provide jobs or control the economy. Secondly anyone with a modicum of economic sense knows that the president has very very little practical affect on the economy. BTW the president doesn't raise or lower taxes anyways, the house and senate do that, regardless of what any presidential candidate promises, without the coorporation of the house and the senate, the president can't really dictate tax policies.
