Maybe a convertible between .32 ACP and the rest of the .32 (rims are different unfortunately).but I really would like to see a keltec revolver.

The Phoenix Arms .22 is lower in price, just sayin'.
And more available. If availability were the same, the price difference is maybe $50, but with the Kel Tec you get 17 rds vs 10, no requirement to engage the safety to drop the magazine, it's lighter, can shoot high velocity .22 ammo without breaking the gun, and the grip is probably better. The Phoenix Arms .22 is lower in price, just sayin'.

I was just about to order a Phoenix an hour ago and decided I'd check out the MSRP on the Kel Tec... very tempting. I'm still going to get the Phoenix, I don't need the P17, not when I'm planning on getting the CP33 whenever that becomes available and when I already have the SR22, which I think is a better made pistol.
I wouldn't knock anyone who buys this P17 tho, it looks to be a very good option for a more defense oriented .22 pistol than the Phoenix that is more just a plinker.
I’ll pass especially with those hideous hex nut pins. The new Taurus .22 seems to be doing really well and is about $200 with rebate. For a little more, you can get the Ruger SR22, M&P22, Walther P22, or step it up slightly and get a Ruger MkIV, or Browning Buckmark.
I’d really like Kel Tex to refine their products a little more, even if it costs more. They are innovative and have super cool concepts, but I feel that a lot of their products are chinsey and made cheaply just to sell at a cheaper price point. I’m not saying all Kel Tecs are bad or anything like that. I just think that if they can refine their products and win over more people.
You can't get a Ruger SR22 around here for under $350, which is substantially more than what I expect the KT will go for. I wanted one for a long time, but didn't want to pay that. I ended up with a Bersa Thunder 22 I found used for $175; that scratches my DA/SA craving in a lightweight .22 pistol. Of course, had I sprung for the Ruger, I'm sure I would have been plenty pleased with it.
I think I see a little Grendel DNA in that new Kel-Tec's trigger guard and lines...
Will Kel-Tec make a 22 mag version next, that's the real question.

That is all worth taking into consideration, but it seems Kel Tec's new "cheap" guns like the KS7 shotgun are having serious performance issues. The P17 is the newest and cheapest gun Kel Tec has ever made.I would not pay attention to the video at this point. The gun is not even being sold yet and you know how the internet is.
