Last year trap shooting was rough. My 1972 870TB broke down. It has a couple hundred k rounds through it. Went all season without a fifty straight. Week before last, 49. Last week, 49. Today, fifty. Looks like the 72 year old still has a few left. Two years back there were six fifties plus a bunch of 25s. We shoot a Thursday league, 25 @ 16, 25 @ handicap determined by running team average. Sunday league is 16 and 20 yard halves.
An ounce of 8s has done fine til we get back to 23.

Started for real in 1968, shot for fun several years before. No way a pro. Added up what patches I saved and I have "run" about 5200 birds straight, ignoring the times when i shot a twenty, or twenty one or that damnable eighteen.
Been a great ride. Tried a Superposed, three 99s, a Daly, some 1100s, a Cynergy, three Citoris, and a few others but I guess forty some odd years with the TB have adapted my body to one gun configuration. Hope for fifteen or twenty more years of this fun game.

Biggest goal is to get 200 straight, even if it is over a week or more. Came close two years ago with a fifty on Thursday, fifty on Sunday, fifty again Thursday and dropped one the next thurs. I know, it ain't legit that way, but my lone 100 about twenty years ago is nagging at me.
