My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Florida once, and she fell asleep in the middle of the afternoon. I was watching a movie, but when it ended, I decided to join her for a nap. As soon as I touched the bed, she started freaking out and flailing. Apparently she thought I was a zombie, and when I reached out to try and calm her down, she punched me so I wouldn't eat her brains.
Another time, I had gone far too many hours without sleep. I was visiting my friend's dorm, which was across campus from my own. Finally, I decided to walk back to my own room. I never made it. My friend found me the next morning asleep on a sofa in the common area of his dorm. Apparently, I had come down from his room on the third floor, but when I exited the elevator I got confused and thought I was in my own dorm building. I guess I gave up and laid down on the sofa when I couldn't find my room.
