Speaking to Willie's point and to some evidence presented on the 'Behind the Blue Wall" site:

It seems to me that this former LEO, a man who afterwards appeared to have some form of 'security' company, and who was an acknowledged 'gun collector' I find it VERY difficult to believe this man lacked awareness of the inconsistency of gun laws across state lines, much less the extremely restrictive gun laws up and down the eastern seaboard.

I'm finding ignorance of these facts very difficult to believe for a person with this man's background.

When you also factor in that he was already being scrutinized by the legal system for his alleged assault on his wife and his contentious child custody gamesmanship...it would seem to me, applying common sense, that one had better take every precaution possible when transporting a generous cache of firearms across multiple state lines.

This guy sounds like a loose canon. Reckless and arrogant.
