just because one is an "expert" in your particular field does not make you perfect, infallible or add your whatever...people are people. anyone will make a mistake, even deadly mistakes!!! always question until you are satisfied you know what you gotta do. even then things can and will go wrong, but at least you've minimized damage to things that are beyond your direct control. life happens and then you move on...

I was told by my grandpa that an expert is a person who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing.I try to keep that in mind when talking to experts. Just my 2 cents.
