My brother lives in Canada and would like to come to the US to buy ammo and take it back with him. Apparently it is relatively easy to do from a Canadian law perspective, he just has to obtain the proper paperwork. Does anyone know if US law prevents someone from doing this? My gut reaction would be no, given that there are few controls on ammo in the US, and also that when you drive back across the border, you don't have to stop at the US side, just the Canadian side. But, better to be safe than sorry. Thanks.
