Favorite 30-06 rifles

My four favorite 30-06 rifles are the; Remington 700 BDL SS, Winchester 70, Winchester 1895 and the M1 Garand. I currently only own one of these but have in the past owned them all.

Ruger #1 RSI. Handles easy in and from a boat, snowmachine, pick-up or any other conveyance.
I'm ordering a couple of the leftover Chuck Daly Mauser actions Tuesday. One of them is going to be built into a .30-06.

I'd love to get a Springfield Armory Garand.

At last count, I've got 8 rifles chambered in .30-06.

The M1 Garand came to mind, because I really like them and take mine to the range often.

But not as often as my October 1918 M1903 Springfield:



And it plays second fiddle to my March 1944 M1903A4 Remington sniper:



(The latter of which will be seen tromping around in the Wisconsin woods this fall in search of whitetail for the freezer...)
