For me it's my pretty S&W 10-5--practical, accurate, and reliable. My nightstand gun, wearing Don Collins's bird's-eye maple stocks.

Model 36 for me. Worked as my dad's back up and now it will work for mine and for summer carry.

For me it's this one.

Smith & Wesson Model 12-2.

Six shots, Airweight aluminum K-frame, 38 Special, 2" barrel, Tylers T-grip.

I've tried the J-frame guns but just can't warm up to them for some reason.

My favorite is my S & W model 60-9 with the 2 1/8" barrel. I also have a 60-10 with a 3" barrel, but the shorter one is my best ccw revolver. I use 38 Specials in both. wyatte

Either one of the above, but the S&W 66-1 is a bit easier to pack that the Security Six.

I've owned both of these for maybe 30 years now. Both wear Eagle Secret Service stocks and both shoot dead on as well as being zero-zero tight (that is locks tight, cocks tight, no cylinder shake or end shake.)

One heck of a good pair.

We can go from pretty to down right homely too.

Not too bad for 98 years old

Iggy,

Once Hemingway wrote about the comforting feel of 'well worn checkered grips' while in perilous circumstances.

You can see he was right.

I don't consider 3" or more a snubby, but to each his own.

Therefore, I have just one snubby left, a Ruger LCR, and I really like it.

Here's mine an S&W M638. The locks been deactivated.

Me and my Taurus M85 are getting along just fine.
I'd trade it in for the S&W equivalent, but like the weighted barrel contour (more like a Ruger) and couldn't find a J-frame with a 2.5" barrel locally.
I loved my friend's SP101, too, but the barrel was shorter and it was a bit heavy for the pocket carry I wanted, so passed.

My NAA 2" BW is always in my front pocket, 2nd place is a 3" 629 44. The BW has been very useful on small game from the tractor and the 629 keeps the freezer filled.

I carried this taurus 85SS in my front pocket mainly for 20 years. Still looks good today , almost 26 years later. Best trigger ever too.

Well, now I have several snubby Smiths. But the one that gets carried the most is my Charter Arms Southpaw. Yea, I'm a lefty living n a right handed world.
