Favorite woods/trail gun?

For trail walking it's a GP100 w. 158gr. lead cast flat nose for me.

Just a walk in the woods, a old ruger,357, 4 5/8, with 200gr hard cast, at 1250fps. when hunting big nasty things that can bite, A grizzly 45 win mag, 61/2, with spare clip. 255 colt hard cast, moving at 1750fps, plus a big gun too,lol

Ruger GP100, 4" stainless, .357 magnum, loaded with Buffalo Bore 180gr wide, flat nose, gas checked, hard cast lead. Or their 158gr JHP or a hot JSP.

East of the Mississippi, of course.

For 20 years my Buckmark went everywhere with me. Now it's generally the PT101 although flavor of the day sometimes gets the call, including the Buckmark.
