Ferrum Forge Lackey

It seems like it's pretty small overall so I really wouldn't expect it to be something you would want to abuse even if it were a little thicker. Looks like a decent neck knife and it's a blade and ergonomic profile that I really love but I'm not a big fan of D2 so I'll keep a lookout for other steel offerings, I doubt it'll come up but who knows.

They do this folder, https://www.amazon.com/DROP-Massdro...1?keywords=ferrum+forge&qid=1569814830&sr=8-1 in cpm s35vn so anything is possible.
Not having a sharp spine edge is not a deal breaker for me but it is nice to able to through a spark if needed.

I'd much rather have that knife than the Victorinox that is the subject of another thread.

I got to handle the Lackey yesterday at our Friday Knife Lunch Bunch and found it to be a very comfortable well made small fixed blade knife. With the 2.875" D2 blade I class it more in the neck knife or bird/trout utility than a knife I'd work hard with for long. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in a pocket or around my neck.

For a hike or backpacking I might pick the 3.78" Sequoia since the grip will be more comfortable for extended use. I'd class this closer to the Victorinox we've discussed and would pick it over the Vic based on the $85 street price and 1095 steel.
