I’ve been in the market for a carbon fiber barreled 300 Win Mag. I’ve teetered back and forth between Christensen Arms, Seekins Havak (not CF, but very light), Fierce and a custom rifle. Jumped off a cliff today and ordered a Fierce Arms Carbon Rival. I feel like it was the best set of features for the money and the .5 MOA guarantee didn’t hurt. I could have gotten EVERYTHING I wanted with a custom rifle, but the local builders I’ve talked to are having issues getting some of the parts I wanted, so I ordered the Fierce. Patience is not my strong suit.
Next week I should be able to put together a pretty good comparison of most of the carbon fiber options out there and see what I like most. I’ve got a couple Springfield 2020 Waypoints, I’ll have the Fierce and I’ll be able to put my hands on a couple Christensens and a Savage Ultralight. Should make for a fun day at the range if not an apples to apples comparison because they will be chambered in drastically different cartridges. 6.5 CM, 308, 300 Win Mag, 280 AI and 28 Nosler will all be on the menu.
