Sighting it in was kind of boring. Only adjusted the scope once lol.

The trigger is a tad heavy and I'm sure an adjustment will help a lot

First 2 shots out of it were touching, with cheap Remington Core Lokt switched up to Hornady Match 140's and I don't think they shot any better than the Remingtons lol.

Clanged some steel out at 500yds as well, didn't miss a shot.

Was pretty cool to see the first 2 shots out of a brand new gun touching with cheap ammo. (Bottom right)

Can't wait to start cooking up some reloads.

Looks like you have a nice little shooter there! Congrats! If you are lucky, you'll find that your rifle isn't ammo sensitive and can make nice groups with a variety of ammo brands and/or weights.

When I was testing mine (Savage FCP in 6.5), I bought 4-5 different types of high end ammo to test, as well as some cheaper stuff. Best group (just under .5 @ 100) so far has been with the mid-tier American Gunner. Of course, I've been practicing more since first getting it, so that may have something to do with it...

That'd be nice! I don't any sense in buying anything other than the Remingtons to hunt with. Anything out to 400 is dead.

But ya know.. I gotta experiment and see just how good I can get it.

Looks like a good shooting gun.
Distance for sight in ?
I'm sure you're aware, while giggle worth, the two shots touching with the Rem's don't prove anything except it acceptable ammo. Shoot a 5 or 10 shot group for comparison. The other 3 bullseyes of 5 or 6 shots have two rounds touching too.
Also if you want to shoot for group size dial the scope an inch or two high or low. It will prevent you from shooting your aiming point out or chasing bullet holes.
A new gun is always fun, especially if they shoot.
