I should have bought one of these back when they were plentiful and cheap...I got a G3 instead (and sold it because I've decided I don't like HK pattern rifles). Now they are difficult to find and expensive but I got a nice one.

Spanish FR-8 manufactured in 1953 by Frabrica de Armes La Corona. Park looks original and is in 90-95% condition. Bore is good n' shiny. Action is smooth and the trigger ain't that bad. Feeds dummy cartridges well and ejects them soundly.

Looking forward to getting her out.

I already have a few battle rifles (pic below is about 1/2 of them)...I just like this one because...well, it's new

Too bad somebody bent the handle. Otherwise, sweet rifle. I intend to buy one if I can find it in decent condition at a reasonable price.

Reminds me of one of the few military bolt rifles that I want and don't have one of. The Enfield jungle carbine.
