Finger grooves or not?

groves

I have average size hands and generally i like finger stalls, but on the Glock 19 3rd gen, no way, hand felt like it was being squeezed togeather with them, one of the main reasons i shed the Glock

I didn't have any desire for them until I handled a CZ 75 with the Hogue replacement finger groove grip. Then I purchased a Buckmark with them and had to put them on my CZ. I think the material they're made of vs point of just having finger grooves makes a difference. Had the grooves on my Buckmark and the Hogue grip been a hard plastic, like the ones on the current offering of Glock pistols, I wouldn't have gone with them. Since they are made of a softer material they conform better to my hands and I feel a little more confident with them.

Depends on the gun and manufacturer of the grip. I like the custom grips on my Buckmark and the Hogue's on the P85. but wound up getting rid of all of my Glocks because the just didn't feel right.
