First .22 rifle suggestions?

Jeff, it wasn't as much directed towards you as just in general. Many of these threads start out innocent and turn into a "mine is the only answer" type and figured while this is heading that way I'd put my 2 cents in before it got there completely out of control. When each side of something like Marling/Ruger gets at it we tend to make is seem as one is good and the other is trash while both are fairly similar beasts that accomplish a similar set of goals two different ways.

How about taking part in the monthly rimfire competition?

with the weather cooling now i might give that a shot. gotta get my pea shooter cleaned up i guess.

I still say the Ruger MkII pistol with a bull barrel is the most accurate pistol I've ever shot of any kind out to about 50 yards.

browning makes an awesome little 22 autoloader too.
