So I just found out my out-of-state CCW application in FL is bad, because the instructor who took my prints and gave me the training didn't (or isn't) specify his NRA instructor number or something, and the prints he took are no good, because they NEED to be taken by a police office. S**t! :fire:

So, in the light of current events, I may just be moving to FL in a month or two. So do you guys think I can just scrap this application, and once I have a drivers license from FL and FL address, take electronic prints there, and reapply, wait 2 weeks, and forget about the previous application. The lady in FL licensing division told me that would be ok, since the application will be denied if I don't provide the proper paperwork in 30 days, I can just reapply once I'm living there. I don't care much about having to pay another $117.

What do you guys think I should do?

And there shouldn't be an issue later because I got denied before due to incomplete application right ???

I would get the instructor's paperwork straightened out, and I would get a new fingerprint card done by LE. You don't want to have a "denied" CCW application if you can avoid it.

Yeah. It'll be like $10 to have your prints taken at the LE office, then just get your insturctor to put the proper numbers on the form.

Since you are moving there, remember: non-resident FL permits are good IN Florida too! :neener:

well...

turns out the training is ok. i called the manager there, and she marked my application ok. i still need to mail new set of prints... getting them tomorrow:D

thanks for all the advice!
