Does anyone know what MA laws are regarding ordering ammunition through the mail. I have been scouring the Mass.gov site for over an hour and I still can't find a clear answer. I'v noticed some vendors will not ship handgun ammunition to MA and some vendors will not ship any ammo to MA. :banghead:

Check the Massachusetts Gun Owners Action League ( www.goal.org ) for some info on this.

Basically our AG conducted some sting operations where they (I assume) ordered ammo from out-of-state companies, then charged them with not complying with Mass law and threatened them with fines. Suppososedly the AG is requiring that these companies obtain a Mass license to do business.

Can you spell obstructing Interstate Commerce?

I think that there are at least a couple of merchants who will mail order to MA in spite of the Atty. Genl. I would do a search on these foums as the few brain cells I have left are not coming up with the thread that I saw it on.

Scuttle butt at the cub last week with a member of Goal was that the feds had ssent a letter to Reilly to cease and desist with his threatening letters to merchants out of state [ interfering with interstate commerce ].

Some merchants will still send and some are still afraid of the AG.

Aim surplus where i would buy 308 by the cases will still not ship here unfortunately.
