For my next rifle purchase, M1A or AR-15?

AR first and down the road, the M1a that way you have both and you can rest knowing that the universe is at peace :D
I'm w/ the others that say go w/ the AR since you already have a Garand

I have 2 complete AR15's, one lower reciever and LPK short to complete a 3rd by accident and an upper, bcg and ch to build a 4th upper.

Then there's the Fulton Lower reciever in .308 with all DPMS parts and a TAC-20 complete upper reciver on order.

I hope next year about this time to get an M1a or M14 ;)

Hard choice to say "get the AR15 with cheaper ammo" or "get a .308 AR" or "get the M1A"... I happen to like them all ;)

I've just started researching my M1A, and the only thing I've learned so far is "not Springfield." The collective mind of the net, for what it's worth, seems to be that if you want a Springfield M1A, go to the factory and bring your headspace gauges with you. QC seems to be slipping...

Other than that, I can't say. I can't even say that with any authority--just repeating what I've been reading.
