Here is my Original Remington family.

Top is my Model 1889 12 Ga Grade 2 Coach Gun
below right is my Ainsworth sub inspected NMA gunsmith Conversion with the R & D 44 Re. C.F. conversion cylinder.
Below Left is my Armory Conversion in 44 Rem. C.F.
Next below Right is my newly Acquired Transition NMA (OMA BBL and front Sight, NMA frame) C & B.
Next Below is my newly acquired New Model Pocket Revolver that was factory converted to 32 R.F. and sold as a Cartridge gun. this has all matching conversion number 15 on all major parts, the cylinders and recoil plates all had their own S/n for ordering purposes, but has conversion number 15 on it as well.
the was a nickel/Blued Combination gun the rammer lever, ram, latch, TG, Hammer and frame screws wer all blued, the bbl Frame and cylinder were Nickeled. both the transition NMA and the Pocket model are the tightest original working guns that were used every day, that I have ever seen.

On a side note the R &D will not fit the Transition NMA. it binds at the bbl breech and ther back of the frame. I believe this is because of the OMA bbl and the NMA frame. The Face of the R &D cylinder will have to be faced off a bit to work.

Gorgeous collection! I love to see the old originals in good hands and hopefully still being shot often. :)

Those are sure some beauties, Dragoon! I have fantasies of finding one like yours at a farm estate sale or something but, so far, no such luck! I really like that pocket model. It's a shame it's a rimfire, in a way, but that sure does make it interesting!

Thanks for the pictures!

Steve
