Last summer, when powder showed up again on-line, I didn't screw around and bought 8 lbs of CFE-Pistol and 4 lbs of Longshot for my 9mm and 40 cal loads.

I bagged the only 8 lb jug of AA-2460 at a gun show for my 5.56 loads as well, I was surprised it was still there, after the show had been open for an hour, but it had my name on it!

I'm good to go.

What is your goal?
I looking for the best accuracy and the 6.9 gr load maybe it.
I think you are already at the upper limit of the published charge range.
I think your're right, the GM 150 primer is starting to flow with the 6.9 gr load.
003.jpg 6.7 gr left, 6.9 gr right.

In 45acp, looking at the primer for pressure signs is not reliable. IMHO, if the primer is starting to flow, you are already past max pressure, as the 45acp is a low pressure round. Same thing for 38spl. I don't think I would work up any higher.

In my 45 (Witness steel-frame) I found with most of my load workups that ~700fps loads tend to be the most accurate - this is with 230gn RN plated.
