Frankford Arsenal X-10

My bench it 40" tall. The height is spot on for the x10 when standing, the only height issue is that the case feeder is too tall for me to look into or reach into and clear jams easily.

That’s unfortunate, that was the kind of stuff I figured they have been working on the last couple years.

I reload sitting but one of those wide angle side mirrors works for me to keep an eye on collator levels. 36F447D6-7D18-4C2D-BEC4-F72B64B215C0.jpeg

Bet that case feeder needs a spacer for 44 cases. My dillon, and my mark 7 both have a spacer that I have to install for 44.

Is the factory powder measure fixed in one station meaning it can't be moved to another station? Station 7?
It is only because of the reset rod that runs down though a bushing on the frame. It forces the powder drum to come back down if it gets stuck.

Cool to see it out there.

I'm guessing tolerances on metering screws have to be really high not to spill something like H110?

I recently got a Quick Change, and went to insert the small metering screw and it didn't fit (didn't want to force it). Tried the large metering screw, same result. Tried the screws in another Quick Change cylinder and they fit. Was going to give RCBS a call to get a new cylinder but, before I did, I took my calipers and measured inside diameter of the cylinder and outside diameter of the metering screws. I was coming up with 0.001 inches difference on multiple readings, which said it SHOULD fit. I gave the inside of the cylinder a very light brush with a large brass brush with some CLP, cleaned the off the CLP and swabbed it dry and, BAM, they fit like a charm.

Is there a way to attach the return rod of the Dillon measure? The H110 leaking is very disappointing.

I missed the initial launch on Midway, so I have it backordered, supposedly going to be shipped out in June. Ordered one of each shell plate they have. Curious about how well it handle powder sloshing out of the cases during indexing, or is there any? Is it likely to end up in the priming system? And if it does will it cause jams?
Been looking forward to this release for well over a year.

I don't have a return rod for my Dillon Measure but it looks like it might fit in the same hole the frankford arsenal one uses. If not, an adaptor shouldn't be too hard to rig up.
As for powder sloshing, I have seen zero with 24gr of h110 in 44mag cases, thats the only load that I have ran so far. The indexing motion is smooth and not snappy. I think that has allot to do with the indexing interface being near the edge of the shellplate while other presses like my Hornady lnl and loadmaster interface close to the center of the shellplate and have to be more precise in a smaller range of motion. On a related note the press indexes on the last few inches of upward travel on the lever.
