Thompson a two-termer? He'd be worth repealing the 22nd Amendment for, IMO...
Thompson is at variance with Ron Paul on three issues I consider to be of critical importance.
Ron Paul voted against the grossly unconstitutional patriot act, have any of you read this law...reads like some brownshirts wrote it...
RON PAUL 2008!
Correia:
"When asked point blank difficult political questions on national news programs, he actually answers Yes or No. Holy crap. When's the last time a politician answered with a simple yes or no?"
That is a good, concrete answer. What I've been trying to ferret out was why people liked him. I kept hearing him raved about as if here were the ideal candidate and when I looked at his record, while, as you mentioned, he was better than the rest, he was far from ideal. I know, we won't have an ideal candidate and I understand that. It was just that I couldn't reconcile the raves about Thompson with what I was reading elsewhere about his record. I wanted to hear why people felt so strongly - if it was just because everyone else was so bad or whether Thompson was truly a good candidate. Thanks.
