Friction rings - A-5 to Model 11

Anyone know why I couldn't use Browning A-5 friction rings to replace the worn-out (really aged) ones on my Remington Model 11? Thanks for any info.

Unless your Browning was built by Remington during the war I don't think they are the same size. Try http://www.ahlmans.com/ they might have some.

I think the rings would be the same for the same gauge. But if the rings are worn that badly, how about the mag tube itself? It can wear out from dirt and constant rubbing, and nothing much can be done except try to replace it.

Call Numrich and ask, but I would think they would cross list the piece if they were interchangable.
