Just got a new G34 Gen 4 and while cleaning it, I noticed that the front two metal rails have a couple spots where they show through the inner part of the plastic receiver. I compared to my G19 Gen 3, and the plastic at that part of the Gen 3 frame is thicker. So I am thinking this is somewhat normal or acceptable for the Gen 4, due to the thinner plastic there. I'm assuming that those two rails are actually one U-shaped piece of metal that's molded into the frame. Either the gun came that way or I am getting some wear from the recoil spring rubbing against the plastic.
I don't really see these coming loose or anything, but just thought I would ask if anyone has seen this. Photos attached so you can see what I mean: It's more apparent on the left side than the right side.
Thanks
