Front Sight Height Math Formula

ALCON,

Does anyone know the math formula to calculate the front sight height needed for a Enfield No 4 sporter rifle with a 22 or 23 inch barrel? I plan on replacing the front sight hopefully with a Williams fire sight. I plan on shooting from 25 to 100 yards.

For a replacement of an existing sight that is of the correct height, just get a new one the same effective height.

High the nominal front sight height math .. there is no math involved the front sight height on all brit .303's is one inch from center of the bore .. Rob
