Greeting's All-

Being a handgun fanatic myself, I was just sitting here wondering what
one single handgun in your collection has given you (or your family) the
most enjoyment over the years? For me, I have sent several thousand
rounds downrange with just 'bout all major makes and models of sidearms;
but I would have too say that in 37 years of shooting, the Smith & Wesson
model 18 .22LR "Combat Masterpiece" (which I don't own anymore) gave
me the most enjoyment. Back in '73, I killed a humingbird with one head
shot from 80 yards away; as witnessed by my friend and fellow THR
member Capbuster. Heck, today I do good too see that far so I know
that a shot like that would be highly impossible for me.;) :D

So far it has been my Kimber Target II. I take it to the range more than any other pistol I own. The runner up would be my Ruger MKII. I fought off the 1911 craze for a long time, but now that I have one I think more may be on the way ;) .

Between my Taurus 22lr wheelgun and my USP 45 I've shot oodles upon oodles of rounds from little 1" dots to IDPA targets....lots' o fun

Ruger MKII Target. When shooting starts getting old for me or I lose some interest I take it out and It seems to reenergize me. Shoots better than I ever will be able to take advantage of and just plain feels good to shoot.

Although I've been shooting the taurus 1911 a lot lately, trying to get used to an auto, day in, day out, it'd be one of my peacemaker clones. Tough to say which one, though, as six-guns travel in pairs, and I've got four pairs of them.

No Question about it

Ruger RST-4. Bought new. I have no earthly idea how many rounds have gone through it, but it still shoots well and still gets shot.

My S&W Model 15-4 with a 4 inch barrel is a blast to shoot. I want to find a K-frame 2 inch 38 and 4 or 6 inch 22LR also. Great fun guns.

Hmm. I think shooting heavy loads out of my .45 Colt Blackhawk has to be the most fun, though I don't do it on very many range outings. I have been sticking to my Glock 17 as of late, and while enjoyable just isn't the same as shooting my .45 Colt.

The handgun that has given me the most enjoyment is the one I've had the least amount of time:

These S&W K-22s are very adicting. Effortless accuracy and superb quality!

Ala Dan,

Maybe it's time to find a new-to-you Combat Masterpiece to enjoy once again!

I get the most shooting enjoyment out of my 1911's by far, but the most visual/sentimental enjoyment out of my dad's (now mine) nickle plated Colt Trooper mkIII in .357.

CZ PCR, absolute joy to shoot.

Ruger Bisley Vaquero. I'm not a CAS competitor, but I sure enjoy shooting this one. Something about shooting the good old .45 Colt, and using a heavy enough revolver to make it pleasant. I also like the look of the highly polished stainless.

+1 for this statement:
The handgun that has given me the most enjoyment is the one I've had the least amount of time:

My S&W K-22 Masterpiece / M17-0:

i love my k-22, it is the very best gun to get new shooters learning on, as it is very easy to shoot, and extremely accurate. after that my next choice would be my browning challenger II. it is a beautiful gun, and it is flawless. not quite as accurate as the S&W, but a total blast to shoot.

I'd have to say my P22, Walther. It is a total Hoot and shoots great and very very accurately. I also am sure Ill love the new SAA in .357 I'm buying today!

I would have to say the handgun that is the most fun to shoot was my first
and also least expensive handgun I own. It is a FEG 9mm.It has always been
reliable and accurate. A close runner up is my colt anaconda 44mag.,it's
alot of fun to feel that power in your hands.
