I purchased "2 KCI g19" and "2 KCI g17" magazines not too long ago for my Glock 19. The KCI G19 magazines have fed and fired flawlessly,
BUT when using the KCI G17 mags, I am experiencing multiple stovepipes. (By stovepipe I mean shell casing stuck vertical in the ejection port of the slide.) A simple Tap Rack Bang clears it, but I'd like to know what exactly is causing the stovepipe?
I believe I can rule out limp wristing as I've never had a problem of any sort using Factory G19, G17 and G18 Mags. I also have not experienced any problems using the KCI G19 mags so I can only assume it's something about the KCI G17 mag design.....
I appreciate any info yall can give me.....specifically how exactly a faulty magazine can cause a stovepipe.
