That's a great price. Our local Gander Mtn. went out of business and was taken over by Gander Outdoors. They charge even more than Gander Mtn. did if you can believe that.

I doubt they have prices in the same universe as your store.
Gander Outdoors is closing 8 of their 38 stores so everything but gun and ammo is at a 40% discount. If the store can't support RVs it's being closed. The 1 near me is closing but I didn't know until most of the good stuff was already gone!

I'm guessing the store near the OP is also closing.

boy I hope not. if walmart stops selling stuff, my gander closes, that leaves 3 overpriced gun shops and academy locally. I'd prefer lots of competetion. But gander is never very full and they had bikes on clearance too. I don't know about the rest of the store.... there are a TON more rv's out front than before.
according to this article, gander is closing 37 out of 200 stores.

Same sale on 8 lb'ers at G. O. in Houston, but not getting the feeling the they are closing,,,,
I noticed a heck of a lot more RV's on display than a month or 2 ago,,,, both inside the building and out in the parking lot.
Not hard to tell where their 'bread and butter' is.

Houston had (3) Gander Mountains. Only (1) of the (3) reopened as a G.O.
The other 2 are empty/unoccupied. Pretty sure they will be sold, if not sold already.

Gander Mountain went bankrupt and re-emerged as Gander Outdoors. There is nothing to sell of the 2 empty stores.

I picked up 16 lbs of Universal last week of August. Had a $15 off $75 coupon to use. It was on sale in store for $79 $77 with my Good Sam membership, while still listed on the web for $160 to me. So my out the door cost for 16 lbs was unde $10 a lb. I’d never shot Universal....but have tried .380ACP and 9mm loads now. Shoots very nicely, it may be a bit dirty, but I don’t care, and I’m not certain anyway. It was soft shooting which was what I aimed for...teaching my wife, daughter-in-law and 11 y/o grandson to shoot.
My Gander just built a new RV sales center next to the original retail store. I surely hope that means the store remains open. I never stopped in while it was Gander Mountain, but I make regular visits and purchase now that it’s Gander Outdoors. Service just blows Cabela’s away, and I picked up 2 Anderson lowers for under $30 each earlier this year.

Nothing left but the empty building(s) / real estate. Unclear if GO bought all the GM properties or just 'pick and chose'. The (2) old GM's closed just a couple weeks before the 3rd. 3rd closed for 'remodel', but the other 2 are still vacant. (Actually, there was 4 GM's total in Houston. Just haven't went by the 4th one since they closed).
