Gauges Aren’t Barrels—A Saga of Four Barrels, One Gauge, and One 45 ACP Round

I like your box, toggle clamp keeps them in place I assume?

You should do a thread on it in the ”gear“ forum.
Yes. I didn’t make it—not that skilled.

It’s a special run wooden range case made years ago by Hogue for the Shot Show I think it was. Has a scope, etc. You’d appreciate the workmanship especially the finger joints.

I got it on eBay a number of years ago trying to complement my grandfather’s Gerstner tool box.

I see a little corner of it, and it must be in your loading room-------so not off topic for the police.........

Here you go. Don’t know how old it is but Papa was born in 1899 & retired in the 60s so it’s got some years on it.

And, yes, it’s in reloading room/gun room/work shop/car repair stuff/lawn mower maintenance/electronics stuff combination room so it meets the topic requirements of any forum you might want to join.

Gertsner has a restoration service for their old boxes and I was tempted but it’s only original once.
