I posted a few questions on their page, simple things like,

“Your flow chart shows long guns and a large, compensated handgun. What about the small, .22, .25, .32 and .380 pocket pistols? How much weight and bulk will your device add? Would a pocket pistol still fit into, say, a pocket? My KelTec P3AT weighs 8.3 oz and is 5.2” long. How would your device change those dimensions?"

and

"If you hope to never see another school shooting, won’t you have to install one of these things on every gun? Wouldn’t that require total registration? After all, if you don’t know where they all are, you can’t be sure you’ve modified them all."

and

"There are at least 300,000,000 guns in the US. Some of them are held by criminals. Do you think the criminals will register their guns and allow you to modify them?"

So when I show up at my kid's school to pick him up, and people are running out saying that there's a wacko in there cutting people up with a samurai sword (or shooting them with one of those millions of non geo fenced guns) I am supposed to run in there with a pocket knife and maybe try to throw a desk at him? Oh wait, I'm sure I could call 1-800-GEO-FENCE to get the zone unlocked for my particular firearm, and that would only take a few minutes.

The only way this absurd idea would work at all is if no GPS signal=gun no work. Otherwise it would be too easy to circumvent. Its crazy how often my phone loses GPS signal in the outdoors, in my own home, etc. Besides the fact that the government would basically have a light switch they could flip, to turn off all the legal guns. Of course the illegal ones would still work, but thats beside the point because all guns are evil, and less in the hands of anyone will prevent tragedies.

Rant off. I need to go build a brick wall in the back yard. Lately I've been needing something to bang my head against.
