on christmas i get to open a gray plastic box that holds a ruger bisley vaquero
ss 44mag with 4.75bbl and synth ivory grips,a thing of beauty surpased only by the lady giving it to me:)

of course hers is a 1927a1 tommy with sev 30rd sticks and a 50rd drum.
a little something to keep her company while im out and about.
 
So now it's the day of and I still don't know what I want. I've been looking at Sig Revolutions and Springfield Loadeds but I think I might rather have two CDNN Sig's for the money I'd spend on one 1911. Or possibly a P226 9mm from CDNN then a set of CT lasergrips for either it or my P220 which I currently carry. I'm going to borrow my cousins glock 26 and spend some time with it soon so I might even go that route, well see I guess. I need more input! haha.
 
You know what they say, two months salary is nothing compared to a lifetime . . . :p

I think you might be able to get a Colt 1911 for that ($600-700).

Lol but seriously guys. A Sig P226 9mm + SKS + CZ52 or Makarov? something else? lol I wanna hear how you guys would spend the $600-$700.

Looks from your sig line like you need a 1911 and a Glock.

As was previously mentioned, the Springfield Armory 'loaded' 1911s are just great.

Glocks are, of course, Glocks.

Thanks man. I love the girl and I'm hoping I'll really enjoy the Springfield.

Haven't had a chance to see which she prefers yet. We tried to go to the range today but I forgot they renew every December so my keycard didn't work. I have to renew tomorrow then we'll find out.
 
Unless she is your fiance, I would be sure *you* fill out the paperwork and she pays - you don't want her accusing you of stealing it from her or being the recipient of a straw purchase if things go sour - happened to one of my coworkers.
