So I am getting to know this girl who's located in a city that is openly anti and she says, "I've always thought it would be fun to learn how to shoot a
gun." She goes on to say that she didn't have much exposure to firearms growing up but she's open to trying it. The best part is where we were talking about my CCW permit and she said, "I think it's very wise, however that you have that permit -it is becoming more necessary these days." I dang near proposed when she said that. Anyways, I just wanted to encourage all you single guys to not lose hope. There are women out there, even in anti cities, that are willing to give it a try.

It took an attempted break in at ut house fro my wife to accept a gun in the house. She is getting better and has even gone shooting a few times. She still rolls her eyes when I want another gun.

Recently I had the pleasure to be seated next to an attractive woman on an airplane. I wasn't really on the make, and so at the time had no dog in the fight as it were. After giving her a little gentle static about the trashy novel she was reading, the conversation started to flag so I asked her what she did for fun. (The setup...)

"blahblahblah, sailing, like my job, online gaming (?), reading stuff other than this (holds up said novel). How about you?" (The trap sprung...)

"blahblahblah, normal stuff- work on my car, walk my dog, listen to music, hang with friends, shoot guns." (And what will the response be?)

"You shoot guns?!" (uh-oh, I think, here it comes....) "Cool!"

Heh, NOT the response I was expecting at all. That dog is in the fight now
