Glock handloads not cycling with suppressor

I'm currently using a YHM Cobra M2 .45 can on a G21 and G19. I've been handloading for a few years now, and finally got my hands on some Titegroup. Everything I've read on Titegroup indicates this powder is a good choice for handloading for a suppressed pistol as it is faster-burning. I used the Hornady load tables on their website, yet my pistols will still not cycle suppressed.

**using 230gr plated bullets for 45ACP with 4.4-4.8gr of Titegroup as per Hodgdon
**using 147gr plated bullets for 9mm with 3.2-3.6gr of Titegroup as per Hodgdon

They FTE each time I try to shoot them. I loaded test rounds starting and minimum and stopping at max and still nothing reliable. The only thing I haven't looked into is replacing the recoil springs. Is there anything else I might be missing, or are the springs the culprit?
Thanks in advance!

That's the key -- will factory ammo cycle the gun?

From what you say, there isn't enough momentum being generated to cycle the gun. This could be due either to (1) a low impulse load (not enough recoil) or (2) the added weight of the can needs more momentum. If factory loads cycle the gun, case (1) is your problem. If they will not cycle the gun, then the can is too heavy.

I vaguely remember Freedom Munitions 45ACP cycling in the G21, but I haven't shot much factory ammo in the G19. The YHM is a super-light can. I would be greatly surprised (and saddened) if the can was too heavy to use. My Ruger Mark 3 Talo Edition 22 pistol cycles fine with it (same thread adapter as the G19), but it's not a tilt-barrel like a Glock is.

Before you replace any parts, I would shoot some factory ammunition.

The Nielsen device or booster in the suppressor is supposed to help with slide cycling
YHM's Nielsen system allows the suppressor to function flawlessly on any semi-automatic handgun

When I got my first suppressor I was loading 3.9gr Unique and a 147gr Berry's "Double Struck" bullet. Worked fine in my 9mm 1911 and M&P9 But to get them to cycle and lock back reliably in my Glock 17 I had to up it to 4.1gr which I've stayed with and works fine. Like with OAL you'll likely have one gun that forces a change that hopefully still works for all the rest. I sure don't load for specific handguns, neither do the factories.

Do your loads cycle fine without the suppressor attached? When was the last time you cleaned the Nielson device of your suppressor?

It's funny you mention that, Wally. I was just now disassembling the can and I'm having trouble getting the Nielsen off. The piston isn't fully pushed back in, and the takedown tool I have is not making contact with the back plate to screw it off. The Nielsen device is probably jammed, and that's probably why it's not working :p

UPDATE - Just got it apart now; gonna clean the small parts and throw it back together. I'm betting this was the problem all along. More updates after a range test.
