Titegroup burns hot and violent but I found it often produced loads more accurate than W231/HP-38 with less temperature sensitivity. WST gets spikey at the top with no published load data for 9mm from Hodgdon but it too produced more accurate loads than W231/HP-38.When I first started shooting 9mm in IDPA I tried Titegroup because it was what "everyone " was using...I bought an 8lb jug. I think everyone was using 4.0grs under a 124gr plated bullet to make about 1050fps.
While it metered very nicely, it's darker color reduced visibility in the case compared to WST/WSF. It did seem to burn "hotter", was snappy, and left scorching on the ejected cases. The thing that made me shy away from it was the narrow range of usability.
Im currently pretty happy using WST, BE-86 and 231 when I load 9mm.
Titegroup produced 2"-3" shot groups at 25 yards with Berry's regular plated bullets - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...e-pistol-reloaders.746062/page-2#post-9382933
WST/BE-86 produced sub 2" groups at 25 yards with RMR thick plated bullets (Hardcore Match) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ick-plated-bullets.761471/page-5#post-9655361
While I use 3.5 gr W231/HP-38 for 147 gr bullet, these also produced light to moderate recoil loads -I am looking for a moderate to light recoil round using 147gr plated bullets, punching paper for fun.

Glock 22 and KKM/Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrels were used with 1.155"-1.160" OAL/COL for Z-Cast 147 gr lead FP bullets at 10 yards
W231/HP-38 3.5 gr - 1.14" with mild recoil (5)
Promo 3.1-3.3 gr - 1.44" with light recoil (4)
Promo 3.3-3.5 gr - 1.10" with mild recoil (6)
Bullseye 2.7 gr - 1.46" with very light recoil (3)
Bullseye 2.9 gr - 1.30" with light recoil (4)
Bullseye 3.2 gr - 1.18" with light recoil (4)
Titegroup 3.1 gr - 1.64" with mild recoil (5)The most accurate at my 50 foot test were Speer 147 gr. TMJ loaded with 3.4 gr. of TiteGroup at 1.136 OAL.
So, I guess I may have to revise my opinion of TiteGroup for 9MM.
Titegroup 3.3 gr - 1.26" with mild recoil (6)
Titegroup 3.5 gr - 1.04" with moderate recoil (7)
