that's what i like about xdm, good for small hands similar to 1911Handle one before you order one.
I have tiny hands, so Glocks point way high and feel absolutely terrible to me. You may have better luck.

this is why God invented the Gen 4 Glocks. Try handling a Gen 4 compact model and you may change your mind about the grip.Handle one before you order one.

Why should you limit yourself to a ugly tool when you can get a better looking tool that works just as good? Why on Earth a handgun should be beautiful or ugly? A pistol is just a tool. A well designed tool should be useful for the purpose it has been conceived, as well as reliable, rugged, easy to maintain, practical and so on. GLOCKS are exactly that.
gen4 is still bigger and has longer trigger distance than xdm, even with smallest backstrapthis is why God invented the Gen 4 Glocks. Try handling a Gen 4 compact model and you may change your mind about the grip.
Glocks also have a different grip angle which is why some have problems with them shooting high. It is just simply a training issue. Lots of safe dry fire and it won't be a problem. If a person had only ever shot a Glock then if they suddenly picked up a 1911, they would probably always shoot low.

also experts will tell you pick a gun which you can point naturally without "trainning", since that's what you will use when you face deadly threat
if xdm points natually like a 1911, look prettier, as solid as glock, why stick with glock?
i know glock fans have spent lots of $$$ on glocks already and gun shooters are naturally more "defensive" types, but for anyone looking to get a new gun, you don't have to buy into the ugliness!
Well I guess Glock is lucky that none of the police agencies that employ Glocks have any "experts" on hand to tell them not to buy Glocks.gen4 is still bigger and has longer trigger distance than xdm, even with smallest backstrap

Yep.Who says the 1911 is a "natural" pointer??? Most target and competition pistols have an even greater grip angle than the Glock and there are some popular models that share a similar profile (Ruger, Luger, etc.).
I agree. Some posters here are a real joke. How moronic is this thread going to get before it gets closed....Glock as..."throwaway gun". Please close this thread now.
My enemies will only see muzzle flash from the front, therefore it doesn't matter how my GLOCKs look.
