Good Deal On A Wasr 10/63?

I just purchased a Romanian 10/63 Wasr AK from Dunham's Sports. I've heard the accessories you get with this rifle are 'luck of the draw,' some get more, some get less. All I got with mine was 2 30 round double stack magazines and a trigger lock, no cleaning rod or cleaning kit in the buttstock. No big deal, I can live with that.

I disassembled it to clean the cosmoline out and to my surprise there wasn't much cosmoline in it at all. There was a little bit on the recoil spring, bolt, and barrel, none on the piston or the gas tube, it was dry.

Dunham's was running a sale on these this week for $429.95, I think I got a pretty good deal.

I'm not fully up on the AK market lately, but I think you did OK. The Century/WASR's have largely been improved from the old days of the smashed rivets and canted sights & gas tubes. I've had a couple, and they've been fine shooters, even compared to my Polytechs,Yugo's, Saigas,etc.
You can find mags,cleaning kits and rods quite reasonably, all over the internet, start with CDNN,Centerfire systems,AIM surplus,Copes distributing,and ultimately,Google.

Pretty much a carbon copy of mine it sounds like. $400.00 so I think you did pretty well.
