Who makes good quality kydex holsters, both IWB and OWB for compact size pistols or small revolvers?

Alien Gear is hard to beat for the price.
I second this. I have more expensive Milt Sparks and Comp TAC holsters, but none are as comfortable for every day wear like the Alien Gear. Not as durable, but way more comfortable. And when it breaks they send you a new one quickly with no questions asked.

It depends on your priorities which is "better" quality but I will take comfort over durability any day.

Vedder makes a good holster and they ship within days, not weeks or even months as I experienced with Bravo.

There's no shortage of good kydex holsters out there. Blackpoint Tactical, Black Arch Holsters, Blade Tech, Comptac, Crossbreed, G-Code, Raven Concealment Systems. There's no shortage of them out there. Personally, I'm partial to Blackpoint Tactical.

My latest is a CYA Supply Co. single clip all kydex. It can go almost anywhere on the belt without printing but it pokes. I get used to it pretty quick. I'd love to find a hybrid that doesn't add bulk.

Not sure I'm fully onboard, although my experience is limited to their pocket line. Their mold line is extremely basic, just enough to work. The design is strange: it includes a thumb rest that allows to drop the holster way one-handed... which only seems like a good idea until you realize that it's a hook format holster that you're supposed to hook. And the sucker cuts into my thigh. I had to cut it away. I suppose PJ do undercut everyone else on price, but... And it's possible that their IWB holsters are well thought out.

I use an independent who might be doing his holsters again this summer. I also Like Vedder Holsters, Tulster Holster, and Black Arch Holsters.

This is my iwb from Squared away customs.
I think it was accidental but there was enough material that I filed a notch for my safety. If you zoom in on the pic you can see it. This should be standard on all kydex holsters for 1911s. It sure is comforting to know that the safety is not going to get knocked off.

I talked to the owner personally while he was on vacation, no less.
Excellent service.
The owner is a veteran.
Check it out.

Raven gets my vote. They don't cut any corners, and the fit is really good. They're very well engineered.
