I had a two tone E-9 a few years ago and there was never a gun that I regreted getting rid of more so when I saw a SS K-9 in a gunshop today for a good price, I grabbed it.
I shot it a few hours ago and it is even better than the E-9 that I had. It is more accurate with a slightly better trigger and it shoot right to aim. I had one faliure of the slide to go into battery at about round 30-40 but a shove at the back of the slide seated the round and it fired and ejected. I fired another 200 rounds with zero problems and my groups kept getting better.
No gun has ever fit my hand like the Kahr and that is why I missed it so much. It points right where I aim and recoil is mild. With any gun there are trade offs but for me, the Kahr has about everything right. It is small enough to carry, heavy enough to shoot fast, accurate enough to hit with, holds enough ammo for self defense, is potent, shoots cheap ammo, and is made like a Swiss tank.
