i didnt know they came in plastic stocks?View attachment 865531
I love mine. I was the first firearm I ever owned. I bought it at JC Pennys in the early 80s.
okIt's a wood stock. I painted it black a few years back.
i see that trigger spring replacement will bring down a 1.5 lb pull WOWThe sear on mine is polished from thousands of trigger pulls. It's very smooth and light. I have no idea how many rounds have been put through it, but it has seen heavy use over the years.
well thats some good info to know for sureThey're good shooting guns. I had one and for some reason sold it. And no it doesn't need a free floating barrel. It will make no difference on a 22. And those actions are held to the stock with one screw in the bottom IIRC. So if you sand out the channel the action will rock in the wood stock. I know because I have already made that mistake and had to go back and glass bed the barrel channel.
Mine has a squirrel on the pistol grip. It's pretty worn from all the handling over the years.
Hmmm.... Squeezing a squirrel.
