One of the last pistols i bought had a membership form, so of course i joined. nice black & gold cap.

but frankly, i prolly won't be wearing it too much around here. folks label you. also, it's not wise in this valley (meth heads everywhere) to advertise you have a gun(s) on your person/in your house.

that is all.

Yeah, you won't find any pro-gun stickers on my vehicle, nor any NRA gear on my body. Several houses have been broken into in our area and I don't need to give anyone more reason to check out mine.

Folks "labeling" is one reason why I would wear and NRA hat.

And I quite agree. My guns are secure in my safes, I don't leave guns in my vehicles, my carry gun is on my person, and I AM THE NRA and I VOTE! I'll not hide my Christianity, my Patriotism, my conservative Republican views, and certainly not my belief and support of most American's 2A rights. If ya don't know me, you're gonna label me. If ya do know me, labels aren't necessary. I could give a rip about a stranger's labeling of me. I carry membership forms for the NRA in my trucks, and I never pass up an opportunity to encourage non members to join, gun owners or not. Fly your flag high and proud.

Just a curious question for those that feel that NRA and pro gun decals are "advertising" that you own guns: when you're going to the range, or going hunting, do you load your gear up in the dark off the night? Have you never brought game home and had to take from the truck to the house? Do you not buy ammo at WalMart? Have you never been seen entering or leaving a gun shop? Do you wear a suit on your way to your deer camp, or do ya wear your camos? What about dinner on the way home from a hunting trip? You and your hunting buddies have never stopped for a bite to eat dressed in hunting gear? So many situations make it obvious that we own guns. Why be hesitant to show your NRA colors? Just curious...

Peace and God bless, Wolfsong.

Oregon Street- I wear my OFF hat, complete with the pic of an AR, and my NRA hats all the time in Eugene. While when I carry it's technically concealed, its pretty sloppily concealed most of the time, and I've gone to the store, to get the mail, etc while open carrying and nobody seems to even notice. And Eugene is VERY liberal with TONS of hippies and soccer mom's.I wouldn't worry about being "labled" too much.

If thats the case where you are, then I certainly cant say I disagree with you on that part at least. What city are you in/near? (sounds like I may want to avoid it.)
