In a previous thread I noted the rebirth of my old Remington 788 from a .308 Winchester Carbine into a 6mm Creedmore. Well, yesterday's range trip made me look pretty good!
The load tests were 105 gr Bergers, IMR 4451, Lapua brass with Remington 7 1/12 SR-BR primers and an overall length of 2.800". Of the 5 5-round groups, one went to 0.402" (center-to-center) and none exceded 1".
I must say, I had a good day and the rifle made me look really good!
