My friend shared this picture on facebook. Apparently the hunter took the picture by himself using the timer and didn't see the cougar till he downloaded the picture at a later time... I would have had to change my underwear after seeing this picture if I was the hunter! I don't know how a cougar could get that close and the hunter never know it was there, I know cougars are excellent hunters, but that is way too close! I wonder, if it's possible the flash could have scared the cougar off? If this is real, then its a good reason to carry a handgun while hunting, if your state allows it, I don't see his rifle or bow if he was bow hunting.

I suppose this could be a good photoshop job too.

Not that I doubt you but how do you see that it's photoshopped? Would be nice to know for the future.

I got this picture in an email with some backstory. I went to Snopes.com and checked it out. They showed the original picture and the Cougar picture seperate. I'm no photoshop expert.

The pic is obviously photoshopped, and has been floating around the internet for quite a while now...

I had never saw it before, two friends shared it on FB, I thought that it might be a fake, but wasn't sure.
I could see branches in front of the cougar so I wasn't sure. Snopes.com does say its a fake. Sorry guys.

Look at the hunter's right hand, 'holding' the rack. At first glance it seems he is grasping it, however further inspection reveals that he is not. That was the first thing that I noticed

Too bad, up until now I thought this picture was real! :what:
