Gun control is coming...another shooting...

Two people were shot and killed Friday at a community college in Dearborn, Michigan, an official said.

A man and woman were found dead in a classroom building on the campus of Henry Ford Community College, said Dearborn Fire Department Battalion Chief John Hay.

Dearborn police confirmed that shots were fired at the college and that the scene was contained. They declined to say whether anyone was in custody.
A woman who answered the phone in the office of the school's president, Gail Mee, said that the shootings occurred in the Fine Arts Building and that the campus was in lockdown.

That's not a mass shooting. Murder's like that take place througout the world. Even in places where guns are illegal.

Shooting in Greece yesterday I think. Greece has strict firearms laws.

You announce it as a logical conclusion to these crimes. We all know the media tries to spin everything that direction.
You de-sensitive everyone to the thought of gun control as a result.

Additional gun control is not a logical response, contrary to your thread title.
Stop de-sensitizing the firearm community and promoting the acceptance of that fate.



Murders happen around the world. Two were killed.
Probably the boyfriend of the shooter's ex and the ex girlfriend considering it was a man and woman.
That is what it has been in similar situations.
That or a love triangle gone bad.

How many of those college students will find out they are pregnant and abort their unborn child...

How many of them will find out they have cancer or HIV or another disease that may kill them at a later date...

MD Willington...some good points....why is it with all the drunk driving, an the deaths they cause, that it never makes national news? Guess those deaths aren't on there agenda...wonder if anyone knows how many accidents an deaths from drunk drivers there are a year, compared to gun related homicides?

I am sure it will be if they found it. After the trial they will probably destroy it.

The gun never hurt a soul no more than a car that was used to run someone over.

If there were anyway possible and the car is fixable it will be right back on a lot somewhere.

The thing is the next owner of the car more than likely will never use to harm a person again.

The ones in control will be the strong men who will oppress the weak. The woman will walk by herself in fear. The small man will have to dart his eyes to and fro looking for the danger of the big man.

The age of muscle and iron died with the advent of the gun. Bows became obsolete because you didn't have to be a super-man to shoot a gun. You didnt need to have years of training with a halberd or sword and the strength to kill someone with it.

Dear lord - we are NOT going to post every dang news story about every person that was killed with a gun. It's nonsensical.
