Gun-Knife Pairing Photo Thread

Here's a neat knife I got for Christmas, a Montana American patch knife rigged to fit around the neck. It's razor sharp and has a nice scabbard. Photographed with a 11 bore blunderbuss with an unusual jaeger style triggerguard. Makes recoil easier to handle.

Doc, that's a killer set. Thanks for sharing.

Cosmoline, that blunderbuss is awesome! I've wanted one for a while. Why? I don't know but just seems like fun.

It is a lot of fun. It took some tweaking to find the load it likes, the proper ball size and learn to shoot without any sights, but there's nothing like the flash and boom from one of these things short of an actual cannon. Most of them were used for coach guns and home protection in England or in naval actions. With 110 2F and a 715 roundball this pup really roars.

I got so excited to see two other Jerichos in this thread I jumped up and took one just now:

here are two that are seldom seen and its even rarer to have them both in the same photo.
1943 canadian lend leases 1911A1, one of approx 12 that are known to have returned to the US after WWII with a pair of the ultra rare $1.25 revere steak/chinese special forces combat knifes. these knives are so rare that you may have to go to three walmarts before you find a 10 pack of them.

Does it count if SOMEBODY carried them? I have fired them while at the range with bayonets attached to test accuracy.

From Top to bottom- Correct H & R with a PAL 10 inch Garand bayonet
1943 Springfield with an Oneida spear point, 1905 cut down to 10 inches
H & R with a dated 1943 Oneida 10 inch Garand Bayonet
1903 Springfield with a 10 inch PAL Garand bayonet.

I just 'carried' them back to the safe; Does that count?:D
