Gun or guns you regret selling.

My first AR got sold... I never even fired it. I just recently traded a G19 for something stupid... I regret that one. I also recently swapped a vintage Browning Hi Power for something I'm not so sure I'm happy with. Several S&W .357's got sold that I regret letting go as well.
 
When I turned 18, my parents took me to get my first gun in my own name. I had $400 birthday cash to buy whatever I wanted. Spent quite a few hours talking over just about every gun in the store with the owner. Showed me a very fine looking 7mm-08 that he'd picked up from the estate of his late friend's wife on consignment. Not sure of the make/model any more, but I always kick myself for passing it up when I think about it. I ended up getting a SKS and a Winchester 1300 Camp Defender (teenager, go figure huh? lol) Took lots of grouse with that 1300, and the biggest buck of my life so far with the SKS. Got in a tight spot 5 years ago and sold them both for what I paid for them. Don't really regret the 1300 too much, but had I known what a gem I had in that Russian, I'd still have it. On the plus side, my uncle still has both so I may eventually get them back lol
 
Wish I Hadn't

Sold the S&W 640 I had, but if I still had it I'd be whining about the sights, which is why I sold it. Other than that I want another one. So I can complain about the sights.
 
i had a beretta model 70 in .32acp, the grip was kinda messed up but i liked the feel. sold it to a former friend for the same price i bought it for, not sure where it went from there. i'd never carry something that fires such a small caliber, but itd look nice sitting next to the rest of the collection, so i do miss it to some degree.

I regret selling my LW Seecamp .25 Auto that I purchased in 1985. I was having problems with it jamming, however I am sure I could have had the gun fixed by the factory, had I given them another chance. I had a lot of money into the gun, leather holster and another magazine (IIRC).

Anyway, when I see the prices of those guns now, and the fact that they can easily be refurbished, I kick myself for the loss in trading it.

All of them. Not a single gun I have parted with could I replace for the cost I let them go at.

But nothing sticks out as irreplaceable.
 
In 1958 i traded off a very nice high grade Parker side hammer shotgun. i regretted that trade for many years. In 1980 the gun came back to me in the same condition.
 
I sold a nickel 29 back in 1979. Wish I still had it, but selling it seemed the right thing to do at the time. That was before I started reloading. Also sold a 28 about the same time.

Recently traded a Taurus M94 toward a S&W 617 for which I have no regrets.

Traded a P89. I got hosed on that deal. Bad loss.

Other than that I am ok. Don't ask me about wristwatches I have sold.

The only gun I seriously regret letting get away is my .357 Desert Eagle, two-tone finish and my FIRST handgun, I needed cash so I traded it for a Beretta 92 and cash................I never did get all the cash out of the guy.

I WILL have another one of these days, when opportunity and cash are both present...........someday.....
 
Glock 21 SF. bought it for $200 and sold it for $400 the next day. I really miss that glock and plan on getting one soon... I didnt have enough time with it and love a full size.
 
Colt Python, Stevens .22 bolt action I got when I was 10 (idiot!), Sig P 6, Taurus 24/7 PT Pro C 9mm., Winchester .22 lever action (sold it in 1985) HK .22 9 shot revolver (sold in in 1985), Rem. 870 Wingmaster with goose bbl and 18 1/2 " (also sold in '85...a bad year for me). I'm sure I could remember more but this is depressing! I try not to dwell to much on my stupidity....recent or past.
 
Martin model 60. First gun I bought, never shot it, sold it to buy a pistol. It's still at the gunstore I sold it to. Trying to buy it back but I think I will prefer to get a s&w m&p15-22
 
Smith model 29 8 3/8". Bought it in '87 for $200 and sold it in '89 for $200.Thought I did OK back then. Who knew S&W was going to turn into crap?

Bought a Star PD w/broken firing pin in about '96 for $50. Sold it a year later for $50. Then the Internet happened where I could have gotten another pin. I just can't win.
 
colt delta.. several S&W including a couple of 24-3, 58, 28. these have proved exceedingly difficult to replace in california.

more than these are the ones i regret not buying. see something really cool at the LGS, think about it for a day or 2, go back and they are gone. drat.
