gun you regret buying...

Para Warthog... bought it to carry, gave it 500rds to break in... and just every so often it would stove-pipe on me. Never trusted it enough to carry... waste of $800

My Ruger SP101 2.25''.... awful trigger. Again bought it to carry and hated every second of shooting it.

Century Golani Galil... Jamomatic

should have spent else where

I bought a Remington SPR 310 or whatever (Baikal over under 12 gauge) that the stock split after about 35 shells. Ordered through a gunsmith that hates people and hates dealing with customers. Weird huh? The finish and fit was horrible and just a big mistake.

Charter Arms Undercover-the gun literally came apart after firing 1 box of wadcutters.

Sterling Arms Model 302-nothing but constant jams with this small .22LR pistol.

Walther PPKs-U.S made, was poorly finished, and suffered frequent jams and mag drops.

Colt Agent-cylinder crane assembly was badly fitted and misaligned to the frame.

Kahr CW40-mag fed single shot which also had issues with the polymer frame.

Browning Hi-Power-a 15+ lbs. trigger pull, a 15+ lbs. thumb safety, and MOB acccuracy.

Remington Model 592-worst semi-auto .22 rifle I have ever encountered.

1. 4" blued Ruger Security Six. I have a 6" stainless one, so I had I high expectations for it, but I never could shoot it well, and it always grouped inconsistently for me. So it to a friend, it pleased him no end.
2. S&W M-59. Didn't like the aluminum frame, sold it only 2 years later. Bought
an M659 in 1985-that I like.

Just one & the only gun I've ever sold. It was a Rossi Trifecta, single shot break action that came with 3 barrels. It was in .243win, .22lr & 20 ga. shot gun. The .243 would only do about 3 inch groups at 50 yards!!! What a turd, I luckily traded up for a Marlin XS7 that is a very good shooter.

Sig X-5 All Around. Wanted to get into the X-5 family. Couldn't get used to the balance. Found it to be too heavy outfront with the longer barrel and the stainless steel compared to the other P226's that I was used too. Shot very well as a range gun but it was tiring to use.

Have to sell it when I get the chance.

My Sigma 9mil was great for about 3 months then random would fire on its own. Did it twice once sitting on the table into my fire place. The other time in the car between my legs through the seat, the heel of my boot, the floorboard of the car, Ricocheted of the road and into my mailbox. Wife wont ever let me forget that one.
Wait, what? Your gun just "goes off" by itself? This sounds like the local newspaper. :scrutiny:

Browning 1910 .380 - wanted a small, concealable pocket gun, and I like older guns. There's nothing really wrong with it, but it's too small for my hand and the sights are hard to see with my old eyes. It's sitting in the safe now.

Job of pocket pistol went to a Kel Tec P11 9mm.

Let's see...

Charter Arms .357 Mag Pug. After 100 rounds of .357 through it, the guts started binding up. Sold it to a buddy, it seized on him, so I manned up and sent it in for repair. $100 later, it came back and was working. He dumped it at a gun show and bought a 7-shot S&W.

Ithaca M37 riot gun that some PD offloaded. It was in good shape, found out why. Sticky chamber would hang on every shell I put through it, even after massive polishing. Also, I didn't know how it worked when I bought it. The design is terrible. Sold it at a gun show for $200 and used the cash to buy truck tires. They stick because they're supposed to.

Sig P250 in .45ACP. DAO Trigger was terrible. I mean SW Sigma terrible. The size of the pistol compared to the ammo capacity was terrible. (No, I don't own a 1911.) Traded it off for a Kel-Tec P3AT, holster, ammo, and some tacbait for my shooting rig. Never looked back. Later, bought an FNP-45. MUCH better gun.

Walther P22. Wasn't a terrible gun, just wasn't what I wanted in a .22 pistol. Also, the 10-round magazine and mag disconnect made me mad. Got ahold of a Ceiner kit for my 92FS and I like that a lot more. 10-round capacity still aggrevates me though. But it's on a platform I need to practice on, so I deal.

1. Browning screw in barrel/receiver 22lr rifle that could not hit the side of a barn (used)
2. Mossberg pump 12 gauge - pure garbage (new)

Chiappa 1911-22.

Inaccurate & prone to jamming regardless of ammunition. Their warranty requires you pay to ship, etc, and I've yet to hear of anyone having theirs corrected to be accurate or not jam.

The "Judge" when it first hit the dealers-hands,, i saw it and said COOL,o gotta have it,, and just like weedwackers public defender i had "timing" issues,, cylinder would lock and you would have to smack the s%^ out of it to get it to open,, luckily i was able to trade it back to dealer while demand was still pretty high and get 80% of what i paid,, lessonlearned, NEVER buy the first model of anything NEW ..

That first one! Its been a downhill slide since then, never enough, always wanting more, bigger, better. And the ammo hoarding is getting out of hand also, I hate to shoot it because I know that I'll just have to replace it and at a higher & higher cost. Even reloading doesn't help much. Sorry guys I don't mean to burden you with my problems but I just need a way to get this monkey off my back.

The jam-O-matic Walther P-22 and a Clinton-approved AR purchased before his silly law sunset.

The big 3 I have mentioned here before where all Taurus:
Titanium .357 cylinder broke
Instant backup .17 locked up by 3rd shot and needed mallet to open
92 clone fell apart (literally) as the first mag went through it sent it in for over a yr, got it back in pieces with a note saying we no longer make the parts to fit this

Ruger Redhawk, SS and a barrel about a yard long for $300. I bought it to re-sale and didn't find a buyer for over two years, just too big for folks around here 30yrs ago. I finally made a grand total of $50 on it, sold it to a lawyer whose friend liked it so well he gave it away and came back to me(when I still had an FFL) and wanted to buy another one just like it for $350, I had to laugh on that one.

Ruger Mini14 Ranch.... 12'' groups at 100 yards... horrible gun. 3 times back to Ruger... it's a wall hanger..

I picked up a CZ Kadet gun at a show once, traded a nice stainless Ruger Mark II for it. Took the CZ out and it had all sorts of problems. Light strikes, failures to feed, fire, eject. You name it. Very disappointing.

Ruger Sp101. I have no idea why I bought it, except I was going to carry it. I don't know why I thought I would carry it, I like autos for carry guns.
I didn't like the trigger on it and bought it anyway. Fixed the trigger and still don't like it. 3yr old gun with about 100rds thru it.
Told my wife, here, your now a gun owner.
