Gunman at church, what would you do?

Uhh, try the first post

I imagined the scenario of an armed gunman, possibly with an AR style weapon busting in the back and start trecking towards the front of the auditorium (possibly towards an intended target). I sit on the end of a pew and would have perfect chance to pull my weapon and shoot the gunman in the back as he walked up.

I came to a crossroads at this point wondering what I would need to do in such a situation. No shots were fired as of yet, but the only conclusion one could make is the gunman was going to kill someone.

What would you do in this situation?

In light of all the shootings at malls, churches, schools and community centers, IMHO, there isn't a grand jury in the US that wouldn't no bill this.

Sarcasm claims another victim...

I'm not really comfortable with running polls on threads like this anyway. We need to be at least a bit more cerebral about the life-and-death decisions we make than running online polls would indicate.
